My mistake. However it did strike me as more than a bit odd that Republicans are suddenly concerned about grammar considering what our last President did with the English language. That was my one and only point.

If you struggle for words in a spontaneous speech without preparing the text in advance, it's rather common to produce a bit of garbage. G.W. Bush had a certain talent at that, however.
Anyway if people are mocking too much about small accidents in spontaneous words, it will lead to politicians only reading them from a piece of paper and I guess that will change things to the worse.

Whatever, I have to agree with Johnny. We would have more of a laugh about Palin. She didn't just produce a few slips in her speeches, she made a complete fool out of herself by letting her incompetence become apparent all too obviously. All of the world laughed about her clumsiness.
