I never went to mine. I don't even remember the names or faces of most of the kids I went to high school with and mine was a class of only @40 students. I didn't like any 'em very much and the feeling was mutual.

I always thought I'd be interested in a reunion after 10-15 years or so, but I'm not. Aside from having to breathe the same air every day while growing up, I didn't really have any connection with my classmates nor do I feel any nostalgia for those days.|||I am going to wait until my 30 year to go again. I went to my 10 year just to show off how much weight I lost. Thirty year will be me not looking like a piece of shoe leather.|||Quote:

I was mostly the same way, but I was on the campus a bunch of times since both my little sisters went there and they had choir events and stuff like that

but not into the reconnecting with old classmates at a reunion or anything, I don't regret skipping it one bit|||Quote:

jk, but to everyone else, and i have no idea why, i still dream about high school and being on the dance team. except every dream is my dance instructor screwing me over or telling me how i am a bad dancer or comparing me to one of her faves from then.

thank you. honestly, the only reason i want to go to my ten year is to show off how much cuter i got since high school... and to get closure. but mainly that. and....

neither am i, really. certain people, sure. but facebook seems to have taken the 10 Year out of "10 year reunion" and, for once in my life, i want to be mean to a group of people and not give two corned ****s about it.

and as a quick aside, but related to Ash's post, my sister is about to enter her senior year of high school. she's on the dance team as well so, like you did/do, Ash, i still kinda have ties with the school. and when i go to see her perform at football games, I might run into an ***-hole or two. the town is so still small enough that literally everyone and their mother is at the football game.|||I was semi-cool, had a good time, and learned a lot in high school.

Had some friends I would not mind seeing more often etc.

But it's such a racket I hope social media puts it out of business.
