totally understandable. if the people i know and hang out with aren't there, then im not sure if i will attend. then again, it is a small town so im sure some friendly people will be there.
at the same time, i don't like being nicey-nice to people who weren't so nice to my friends or me. i hate going to the local Wal-Mart for this reason! XD|||I went to mine. I think the longer you have been away from school the more life balances people out.|||I never went to mine. I had stayed in touch with a handful of people, and that was fine. I had never thought about it though, but I had a bunch of friends in other grades, so they wouldn't be there anyway though.
I was thinking about going until I got on Myspace. At first, I was like "Golly gee wilikers! I keep running into all these people I haven't talked to in forever! Neat-o!" After a while though, I was like "Oh yeah, that's why I never kept in touch with all these people..."
Pass.

If I were to attend, I might stab some people in the eye with a fork.
That sounds like a totally valid reason to go!

you know my friend Cheeto? i keed, i keed.... but he really is going bald and he's 25. our other friend had a headful hair back in high school. and he's pretty much bald now. quite shocking when i saw him last year.
im not old enough to go to mine, it's... about four years away? you're right about the facebook thing. people do keep in touch with that and i live with two schoolmates and keep up with several others thru email and such so... it's all good.
at the same time, i wanna go to see which pretty popular girl/guy turned not so pretty after school. yes, i am a shallow ***** like that.
not only that, but if i go, i think it will be the one time i resolve a certain situation with a guy i had a crush on back then. let's just say he deserves a nice punch to the face for what he did to me because he knew he could do it, but is going to jail for punching a Marine worth it? no, not for a sorry guy like him, but i plan on giving him a piece of my mind when that time comes, if i don't do it sooner.
See, now that's the kind of stuff I don't want to miss out on!
I know, you just can't buy that kind of entertainment!
[/popcorn, plus bail-money for Leo]|||I intentionally left no information for them to track me down
and then all this facebook hooey led them to me
but I still didn't go|||I waited for the 20 year one|||I'm on the organizing committee for my 30th reunion for later this. The people that I've contacted about it are cool on the idea, to say the least!|||I don't have a facebook, nor a twitter, nor a myspace, but I still wouldn't want to go to a high school reunion, just because I'm lazy :P Besides, I'm hoping to move out of state once I finish my schoolin' and all that good stuff so that will be just an additional reason why I shouldn't go ^.^|||Quote:
I waited for the 20 year one
Me, too, although I was at the 5 years anniversary as well.
At the 20 years anniversary, maybe 50% of them were there. A few evolved to the better and a few were the same idiots as they had been before. Whatever, I had a nice time.|||Actually I might go just to see if my chemistry teacher is still hot.|||It honestly sounds like they will be lucky to have 25% of the class show up for this one, it seems to be very poorly organized, and very last minute. I still haven't really decided, but I'm pretty good at procrastinating I'm sure I was supposed to rsvp a long time ago, but I don't really care. Maybe they will get their act together for the 20 or 30 year one!
