Odd, that logic was certainly not considered in any way legitimate over most of the years of the Bush administration... |||I think that the seemingly fresh smell of new political movements (which you might be promoting subtly here ) will soon become or already is as foul as the others. Many of them start with good intents, but most intents go overboard during the time these parties establish themselves. Addressed to me? I don't think this is a new movement at all; it's the cynical villany of the Muslim Brotherhood hiding behind Western ignorance, Obama administration buffoonery, and juvenile enthusiasm by the few Netziens involved.

I actually heard the liberal sidekick on RedEye claim that the Libyan resistance was composed of Westernized expat kids who have returned to the country. But it's a running joke that he's a crackhead, so this may have been intended to substantiate...|||Quote:

Not that I agree with the logic in any way, but you can hardly say that we took out the dictator and then "got ourselves out of" Iraq.|||haven't kept up with this thread at all, but thought this might lighten the mood some.

then how did the western world manage to do it?|||Churchill hit the nail on the head when he said that democracy is the worst of all government forms - except all the others.

If I was Kadafi, I would be shaking in me boots!|||The most recent attack on Lybia was not a success however. They killed some of his grandkids and people working in and around him. However he escaped alive and well. They need to be careful to not be seen as reckless and become the bad guys in this situation.
