Kotick's got some dough!

My mom was telling me I should invest some during this stock market downturn. Was looking at Activision Blizzard and stumbled into the shareholder transactions list.

Check out the size of the transactions Kotick did on Blizzard stock in 2009. It looks like exercised stock options and cashed out close to $50 million.

http://biz.yahoo.com/t/44/672.html|||And Rule 1 of the OTF FAQ is?

Spoiler

  • Rule #1 of the OT Forum: This forum is for "off-topic" subjects. Since the game is the topic of the site, "off-topic" is defined as those subjects not about Diablo II, Blizzard Entertainment, etc. Other games are... fair game. :-)

|||I personally would still classify a Blizzard employee's stock transactions as off-topic. But on-topic is fine by me.|||Come on Bob, I would think you of all people would know the rules to our little game of Calvinball here...|||Stocks are definitely off-topic.|||Quote:

/s for the insider part.

if someone above us in the structure does not like this thread it has a reason to die.

But Really, spindrjr

Did your mom give you options?|||Quote:

The OTFFAQ is so out-of-date it could be classified as a fossil. We have a much shorter, revised version that will probably make its appearance shortly before Crowbar Trois. No need for it now.

Anyway, there's nothing "on-topic" about stocks, even if they're Blizzard stocks. I do enforce the "no crowbar" half of the rule but I don't enforce the "no Blizzard" half because... well, there's no tactful way to put this: it's stupid.
