Ohio Officer Goes Berserk When... - Page 4

I usually give the police the benefit of the doubt on stuff like that. Especially when the evidence is a near useless video of the incident. That's not to say the incident shouldn't be investigated of course. The guy did look pretty beat up and died in the hospital. Its just that a shoddy video recording and the testimony of a handful of people who likely never have to subdue uncooperative hotheads is not enough for me to throw the cops (or anyone else in their position) under the bus.

They still have not released the video they took

The district attorney has so far declined to make the bus depot video public. Schroeder has said that its release could taint witness testimony.

The incident, already under investigation by the FBI and the Orange County district attorney's office, is roiling local politics as well. Two Fullerton City Council members have called on the police chief to step down. And local conservative activist and entrepreneur Tony Bushala said he had gathered enough signatures to begin the recall petition process against Councilmen Pat McKinley, Don Bankhead and F. Richard Jones.

So don't complain about the public video being poor quality.|||Conspiracy, conspiracy everywhere!|||Quote:

I can see how that might be the case. Though for their sake, they better make the process quick and release everything they've got as soon as reasonably possible. I just hope they don't decide to just give the mob a sacrifice. If they hang somebody, they should at least make sure he deserves it.

Politicians. Like roaches, all of them. Disgusting, creepy, disease spreading, run away when someone turns a light on, and are the only creatures that will survive a nuclear attack. |||Quote:

Ever hear the term "rubbernecker"?

That applies to this how? People slowing down to look at an accident is very different than this.

The crowd not running away doesn't mean there is no threat.

True, but people generally have a good sense of things. If shots are fired, they duck and run. In a burning building, they get out. These people not only didn't feel threatened, they took time to shoot video.|||Just remember what can happen if enough people see it.
