Norwegian massacre - Page 11

Glurin,

Anyone who defends Glenn Beck’s biased, shallow and manipulative painting of things as Nazi or not Nazi has proven his sheer incapacity for analysis as well as extreme lack of critical thinking.

Bye

BobCox,

The point of the thread was most certainly to express shock and dismay, hence the Estonian OP’s “damn” at. (A lot of people on and near the Baltic share the same sympathy that Canada did with the US on 9-11.) You get no validation for pointing the finger just to push your agenda in place that was supposed to be for grieving. Go ahead and push it, but not in such a place, especially given we have quite a few Norwegians on the site. I can see it now “Free speech and blah blah”. This about respect for others’ losses and their sorrow.

Bye|||This is the OT forum. Threads get OT all the time. No biggie. You either try to get the thread back on topic, continue the off-topic or you stop debating in it.|||Quote:

Its funny though, how much you (political left) protest so vehemently when your actions are compared to the national socialist party. But when it comes to the statements or actions of your opponents, the first thing you do is slap a swastika on them.

It's even funnier how certain people feel forced to jump to Glenn Beck's defense when he's being criticized in that manner.

BTW, I wasn't protesting, I just gave an adjucation about Glenn Beck. I'm not demanding that he retracts his statements or apologizes or anything like that. Why should I? I said it before, he might be the best man of the Democrats in the media. I think he causes more bad than good to the political right. He makes it look like the place where most of the scumbags and brainless weirdos are and scares off more people than he attracts.

Maybe Glenn Beck is actually a kind of agent provocateur who's secretly working for the Democrats |||Its either defend him or watch people continue to parrot brainless, unfounded anti-Beck rhetoric as an excuse to shut their minds.

If you really want to insult someone in media with what people accuse Beck of, I could easily name quite a few that deserve it.

I challenge you to listen to his show every day for one month. Just one entire month. I don't mean turning on the radio in the background and ignoring it while you do something else either. Really listen to it. Then at least you'll have some footing if you still want to play "Who Wants to be an MSNBC Host?"|||Do you think that he feels insulted by what I said? He would probably feel honored by "commies" like me saying what I said. I actually think that you feel insulted by seeing other describing him as what he is, but you cannot blame me for that... after all, my target was him, not you . Maybe you should be more angry about him.

I think my adjucation is very well funded. I don't have to look for long when searching for reasons. You just refuse to accept them, but that's not my problem. To be precise, I don't have to explain or even proove why he is what I called him, he's doing that himself better than I ever could.|||Actually for me its more about seeing people do the fingers-in-ears-"NANANA I'M NOT LISTENING" thing than it is their insults, whoever it's directed at.

I'm sure you don't. The level of effort that has gone into discrediting him is mind boggling, which frankly speaks to how accurate he is. Its all the same stuff though. Out of context, twisted, misrepresented, etc. A lot of hate and venom with no substance.|||I am not so much surprised that he mentioned Hitler Youth as he is against that it was political in nature. The HY he mentioned in passing but apparently he is against kids meeting to discuss or learn about politics (I don't know the specifics of the activities). I'd be mildly curious to know if he elaborated on that.

Is he against kids meeting like that to discuss religion? Music? Poetry? How does he feel about the Boy Scouts?

Actually I don't much care what he thinks. People like him just do things to get attention. Same as people like Oprah or Rush. Do whatever for the almighty rating boost.|||/evil double post monster|||Quote:

Well I'll miss you but really go, but you should read the past tragic threads RIP ETC here.

(I was post #4 BTW) and I was like “damn”! Myself (You might Notice s4nder who's post that was and I are Friends BTW) But I did not know anyone there though my first thought is a youth camp and no guns 0 who's protecting the kids? I must say I admire the lesbian couple that rescued so many.

I liked the Royal and Government Responses after the fact as well.

If you think I'm bad, be glad you missed the long reign of the yellow troll.

And I already made sure everyone here got to see the victims as Real people.

So If you are offended it's your own choice to be..
