- who was a drug-addled loser for much of his youth
- whose mother was a white slut drifting between black thugs
- who only got his position on the Harvard Law Review thanks to racial quotas (and never published anything on it)
- you barely heard that the Obamessiah and ObaMadonna worked closely with the American terrorists Ayers and Dohrn for decades
- you barely heard that he steeped in the most vile race-hatred imaginable by someone considered his religious mentor for 20 years
- you barely heard that an Islamist terror kingpin dedicated to the obliteration of Israel was a constant dinner guest who babysat their girls
- you only heard a smidgen of that the ACORN organization won the election for their creature by breaking any number of RICO-worthy laws
- finally, that the media you draw your "information" from is deliberately suppressing this sort of fact
Instead, supposedly credible journalists like Andrew "Milky Loads" Sullivan speculate that son Trig is actually daughter Bristol's baby, false accusations of fiscal misconduct are stirred up regarding nice clothes for the campaign trail, multiple lawsuits are fabricated to bankrupt the family, and the hick-fiancee gets to tour the media badmouthing daughter Bristol despite his own obvious problems. If you're not capable of recognizing a smear campaign, then you're beyond recognizing anything outside of your own partisan perceptions.|||Quote:

I hate to break it to you, but if you imagine Llad had just said the quoted portion of your post instead of you, I think you can begin to get a feel for the gravity of the pot-kettle reply that I really want to say right now, but have a hard time expressing in words.|||I know about most of that (although I'm not that well informed about each of the defamation campaigns which seem to be a common element of election campaigns in the US on both sides). I don't think that my sources are worse than what you call original sources. Your media and mine are getting the news from the same sources anyway.

I don't even sure if I know that Andrew Sullivan. Whatever, I can distinguish rather well between a distortion of facts or drivel (like the clothing affair regarding Palin and what's said about Obama's mother) and genuine things (like what she said while being on camera).
What I can tell you is that no politician here would dare to make an election campaign like those in the US. Of course, each of the presidential candidates had his cronies and lackeys who are spreading them, so the candidate and his most important staff appear to have a clean slate, but over here it would still have the opposite effect, even if the candidate cannot control his overzealous allies completely.
Whatever, both of us seem to try to get out of that discussion, so I'm making this single posting about it as well, just like you.|||Quote:

Not really. Just because there's some bullcarp that Mikey Moore furiously spun into popular perception, it doesn't manage to approach the depth and weight to which traditionally un-American entities' relations with THE ONE contain. Obama is the sort of person that most Americans wouldn't open the door to if he showed up at their house - the media is the agency glossing over the reality.

Oh, I'm not pretending for a moment that she's polished - far from it. But point of truth, both THE ONE and Biden have said far, FAR less capable and polite things and have been completely ignored when doing so.
